Things you should know about me....I got my start in radio by getting involved in a radio program offered at Cornell University. >From there I was hired by a Cortland station and went on to work in the Syracuse market at 93Q and 95X before landing the position I absolutely LOVE at WSEN. When I'm not on the air I am probably involved in some sporting activity (see my blog).

January 2009

Happy 2009!

Hope everyone survived the celebrations, and lets hope that things will start looking up in the new year.

As promised, there will be a new lunch hour contest. It will be the Drive Thru Cafe lunch menu. I will ask a trivia question and take the 9th caller. The first person to guess the menu item correctly will win. It should be fun!

The secret sound is also back with tougher sounds. We really have been having lots of fun with that. Good luck!

When I haven't been working I've been at the Y playing basketball and running. Our Thursday night volleyball team hasn't done too well this session. We hope to make up for it in the play-offs. And I watched me friend Ben's dodgeball team play. It looks like fun, but those guys do throw hard!

My "little kitty" Gabby is doing well. There are wild cats that live in our neighborhood (probably his relatives). He constantly watches them. Sometimes they will come to the front door. When Gabby sees them he dives head first into the door trying to get them. I'm surprised he doesn't knock himself out! He's very entertaining.

Have a great New Year all, and I'm looking forward to your secret sound guesses.....

Diane
